WE ARE HERE TO HELP

BENEFITS

Our agency provides access to benefits which help people with medical, food, and cash assistance. We also offer family services through our emergency assistance program to help pay for some work related costs or unexpected expenses due to a crisis.

Ohio’s benefit website (www.benefits.ohio.gov) is the quickest way to apply for benefits. Once an on-line account is set up, consumers can complete and submit an application, check on the status of their case, report changes, and even submit documents electronically.

Benefits Call Center

Marion Job & Family Services is a member of a multi-county call center project which allows people to call a single toll free number to find out information about their application for benefits or speak to an eligibility specialist to complete their application interview over the phone. Consumers who use the call center may speak to a representative from any of these counties. All call center staff are trained to answer questions and help with the application process. These nine Job & Family Service Agencies, listed further below, share a telephone and document management system to service consumers.
